Ara en Moviment holds Festivals since 2016, focusing on the intersection of Contact Improvisation,
Somatics and Performing Arts.
All of them take place in the city of Barcelona (Spain) and
neighbouring villages. To date there have been twelve editions:
eight to say goodbye and welcome the New Year
and four to celebrate the arrival of summer.
Every day, after finishing the workshops, the room becomes a jam space open to both Festival participants and the rest of the community of practitioners in and around Barcelona.
