We Are | Ara En Moviment

vision

The Ara en Moviment association was born in 2016, after having grown for several years in the personal journey of its members.
Our wish is to create, share and promote spaces inhabiting art, education and research on movement and somatic practices as the main source of inspiration.
We currently offer training at a national and international level, hold festivals around the arts of movement in Catalonia and manage cultural events.

Advocate both performing and plastic arts as tools for personal and social transformation.
Introduce somatic awakening in the educational system.
Spread, develop and promote Contact Improvisation as a practice and language.
Support and generate proposals to enrich the cultural fabric.
Boost visibility and prioritize the place that women occupy in both the artistic and professional fields.

Emphasize gender, inclusion and diversity..
Develop a pedagogy based on an integral consciousness of Being.
Cross-research in order to produce and offer our own training material.
Encourage cultural exchange at an international level and strengthen local activity.
Commit to responsible, sustainable and ecological consumption.
