Ara en Moviment holds Festivals since 2016, focusing on the intersection of Contemporary Dance, Contact Improvisation and Performing Arts.
All of them take place in the city of Barcelona (Spain). To date there have been nine editions: six to say goodbye and welcome the New Year and three to celebrate summer.
Every day, after finishing the workshops, the room becomes a jam space open to both Festival participants and the rest of the community of practitioners in and around Barcelona. On New Year's Eve, this jam takes the form of a performance jam, preceded by a dinner for all participants.
