Ruth C. Morata is born in Barcelona. There they graduate from the University of Barcelona with a degree in Chemistry and subsequently complement their studies with a Master’s Degree in Bioinformatics for Health Sciences (UPF), carrying out the final project at the University of Oxford in 2009. Recently, and back in their hometown, they became interested in web development and completed a Full Stack Development training.

In parallel to this, in 2015 they feel curious about body and movement. Since then, they have been in continuous experimentation with body awareness, Contact Improvisation, dance-theater, performance in public spaces and improvisation.

This search leads them to maintain a constant practice, participate in festivals and workshops, and be part of laboratories and creation processes with Cia. Marc Vilajuana [Gente haciendo cosas en bucle y a veces no (2018)], with Álvaro Prats Bertomeu [Degeneraciones en generaciones (2016), Les dones del poble (2017), Cuerpo y alma (2018), Espai v.1 (2020), Temps v.1 (2021)] and with Linn Johansson [Cuerpolis 1st Ed. (2020), Cuerpolis 2nd Ed. (2021)].

Since 2019 they collaborate with Ara En Moviment dealing with the graphics and the structural design.
